Thank you for making our 60th Anniversary a wonderful success!
This past September 8th, the Lions Optometric Vision Clinic hosted a 60th Anniversary Appreciation Banquet and Fundraiser. It was a rousing success with almost 100 in attendance, raising several thousands in support of our continuing mission to serve the community with no cost and low cost vision services. Ariana Cohen, from Channel 8 News, served as the evening's emcee keeping the dinner lively and entertained. Ms. Cohen's dad, Barry Allen Cohen sang energetic standards from the Jazz-Pop era and kept the audiences toes tapping. He is a great talent! Also lending their talents 10 year old Eva Mather who will be singing the National Anthem for the San Diego Padres in 2024 and nationally renowned Floyd Armstrong Smith of the famed 5th Dimension. Special thanks to President Mike Brandenburg, Treasurer Helen Quintanilla, Secretary Dr. Erin Swift, and SDCOS Representative Dr. Andreea Nastasoiu, Dr. Ananya Jalsingh, SD United Lion Donna Lee and the whole LOVC board for organizing and celebrating 60 years of operations. What a great night!

At Lions Optometric Vision Clinic, our mission is to provide vision care to individuals in our community who cannot afford adequate care. We believe that everyone deserves clear vision and the opportunity to live their lives to the fullest. Through our services, we have provided eyeglasses to over 10,000 individuals, making a positive impact on their lives.

Our Services
At Lions Optometric Vision Clinic, our experienced optometrists provide thorough eye examinations, prescribe corrective lenses, and offer recommendations for maintaining optimal eye health. We also have a wide selection of frames to choose from. Cost for single vision lenses are $30 and $45 for bifocals. Costs are higher for progressives and tinting. Included is an eye exam if needed. Prescriptions no older than two years are welcome.
